Clementine was the first of many new restaurants in downtown Harrisonburg, helping with the revitalization efforts for the city. This three-in-one space is a restaurant, bar, and music venue.

Fred Bosserman and Clay Clark worked to retain the original feel of the building, while adapting it for its new use. The previous use for this space was as an old movie theater. The high ceilings and walking space above the bar is where the old projector lived, facing the current music performance wall.

A local artist painted the gorgeous, vibrant wall behind the performing area, in addition to many of the other paintings inside Clementine. This back wall used to be the projection screen for the space's previous use as a movie theater.

Never one to let space go to waste, APR Associates reclaimed the basement as a private event space and nighttime bar. Ruby's is a well-known, classy bar that adds to Harrisonburg's downtown scene.
