Beginning with an existing one story ranch home, of approximately 2700 square feet, and keeping some of the basic existing interior layout the Bells liked, the project resulted in a two story home of approximately 8000 square feet by adding new outside walls and height to these walls to span a new second floor over the existing interior wall layout. The outside wall expansion allowed the enlargement and enhancement of the master suite, kitchen and dining areas and the main living room while also giving them an enlarged two car garage. This expanded lower level ceiling area then allowed for the addition of four bedrooms and three baths to the upper level, plus an office, and exercise/dance room and a great amount of storage.
